Magazines of the Future

Author: Ryan Gallwitz

Sports Illustrated created an example of what their magazine will be like in the future using the Ipad or similar devices. I believe textbooks will soon look and function like this as well.

I think this is wicked! I agree textbooks and encyclopedias will also be in the same format eventually. I also think most kids will be on line virtual students in the future too.

This seems to be the same concept as the Kindle, where you can read all your books on the electronical device. I think having school textbooks in this format would be amazing. My only question is, would this be unrealistic in schools because of price, and tech management..?

Alrighty so i think that using giant ipods instead of textbooks would be a good idea on several levels such as no more lost books, no more book damages, and it would make a wide viriety of books available to every student. I have a few concerns with this though. My main one is i dont really want to have to charge my math textbook. Im worried about todays society, i think technology is taking over to much.

I love that you can watch the action! It would be so neat to see a clip of a game then read about it. Great ideas for the magazine companies!
